Support the Shipping Department by ensuring safe transport of deliveries to customers, and/or facilities affiliated with Safran Group.
Summary of Duties:
• Deliver raw materials, supplies, tools, and finished goods to local Safran facilities.
• Transport raw materials, supplies, tools, and finished goods between the home facility and any local warehouses.
• Assist the Shipping Department with packaging and staging of deliveries.
Job Requirements
Education: High school diploma is preferred.
Experience: Less than 2 years. Certified in forklift operation.
Computer Skills: Basic ability to use Microsoft software..
Other Skills: Basic knowledge of driving routes, map reading, and staging and freight preparation. Able to load and unload trucks. Understanding of shipping department tools and tool usage (i.e. powertools).
Specificity of the job
Travel is required.
Candidate must be able and willing to pass yearly MVR check.
