Job Description


As part of the payroll team, you will be creating payroll models and performing analysis for internal customers. You will be responsible for supporting the business initiatives for a select set of individual departments by providing payroll insight and expertise. The Payroll Analyst will serve as the point of contact for select departments and provide payroll insight to assist with strategic decision-making. The Payroll Analyst prepares payroll for weekly, bi-weekly and monthly processing; maintains the HRIS system for changes updates and security; recommends appropriate payroll processes and policy improvement. You will also be working to streamline internal processes while dealing with an ever-increasing workload as SAFRAN experiences significant growth. It's a fast-moving environment and requires a strong level of comfort with a dynamic pace.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Provide support with weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll, including garnishments, benefits and taxes consistent with federal and state wage and hour laws.
• Maintain security for Payroll/HRIS system (user setup, workflow, etc.).
• Analyze, review, prepare and input payroll data using ADP payroll system.
• Produce accurate and timely payrolls for multi-locations (U.S. and Canada) based on state and federal regulations and company polices.
• Assist with processing employee garnishments (wage garnishments, child support and levies) on a payroll basis.
• Creates Ad Hoc Reporting.
• Assist with managing departmental projects.
• Process employee withholdings for 401k provider and flexible spending accounts.
• Maintain accurate payroll journal entries on a monthly basis.
• Liaison to locations on payroll system and accounting departments.
• Manages HRIS System making changes and updates when necessary and provides troubleshooting.
• Assist the Human Resources Department with payroll processing training for system users.
• Runs reports as needed and required from HRIS system to include consolidation of SUSA and other divisions' data from other systems.
• Provide corporate back-up in the absence of the Payroll Sr. Manager.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Must have a background in ADP Vantage or ADP Workforce Now
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and be deadline sensitive.
• Multi-national payroll experience is required.
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Ability to relate with employees at all levels to insure accuracy and to reduce errors.
• Intermediate to advance Excel skills.
• Customer Service oriented.
• Excellent oral and written communication skill.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be highly organized.


Minimum: Some college work with certificate in payroll or equivalent
Preferred: BA/BS in related field or equivalent certifications
