In the role of Assembly Mechanic you'll play a pivotal part on our Assembly team.
This position contributes to our vision by:
The Assembly Mechanic is responsible for following procedures for
product assembly, fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble product according to required specifications and procedures. This includes drilling, edge fill, bonding, mechanical fasteners and fiberglass prepreg,
•Responsible for the quality of the product.
•Responsible for tool accountability and maintenance within the Assemble area.
•Responsible for keeping the work area clean and safe.
•Very minimal guidance required to accomplish tasks.
•Any other duties assigned by a lead and/or Senior Assembly Mechanic.

Job Requirements:
•High School education or GED.
•Typically, 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably related to aircraft.
•An FAA A&P certificate is desirable but not required.
•Ability to communicate orally with others
•Troubleshooting/problem solving
•Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure
•Able to perform basic mathematic calculations
•Understanding of customer's expectations
•Understand drawings, specification and follow written procedures.
Working Conditions:
•Manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements:
•Some bending, climbing, grasping and lifting.
•Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
•Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
