What You Will Do:
As our engineering manager of our Information Systems department, you will serve the technical needs of the engineers and engineering management and act as the liaison with the IT department. If you are looking for the opportunity to apply your talents and demonstrate your enthusiasm for the aerospace industry as we build elegant solutions for a better flight, this could be the position for you!
Implement and maintain Engineering Computer Aided Design (CAD), Product Lifecyle Management (PLM), Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other engineering software applications and systems.
Manage external vendors providing engineering software licenses as well as services and support
Support the IT department with the installation of new Engineering software, upgrades and patches in accordance with GTI change management practices.
Investigate, confirm and develop current and new CAD and PLM operation flows for end users to increase productivity and system effectiveness.
Provide helpdesk support for Engineering IT related issues including troubleshooting and software problems.
Work closely with Development Manager to ensure coordinated engineering software updates, useable functionality, testing and user training.
Participate in Scrum meetings with development team.
Acts as Product Owner for Engineering software development.
Detect, diagnose and resolve client-server operating system and hardware related problems.
