Job Description

- Missions:

Assists the Deputy Finance Director in his tasks and responsibilities.
Assists in the execution of the CFM Inc. financial processes.
Represents and communicate Safran's interests in the JV
Facilitates the relationship of Safran with CFMI Inc and GE and Safran in all administrative and financial matters in a multicultural, multilingual context

- The Financial Analyst is placed under the authority of CFM Inc Deputy Finance Director.

- Main tasks and responsibilities:

Cash:
o Daily cash management.
o Bank reconciliation and transactions monitoring
o Past dues follow up and forecast
Forecasting:
o Participate in the budget creation and MTP process throughout the year under the responsibility of Deputy CFO

Factoring program
o Following of invoices sold to the banks
o Calculation of installed engines to be paid
o Follow and lead the daily financing program management
Accounting:
o In charge of monthly closure
o In charge of Intercompany reconciliation
o IFRS monthly and quarterly closing and reporting in Safran's consolidation tool
o Monthly analysis of discrepancies between estimates and budgets
o Follow-up of US GAAP actuals vs budget

Internal control:
o Perform annual internal control campaign under the responsibilities of Deputy CFO

Procedure's formalization: write/update CFM Inc financial procedures.

Identification and implementation of Lean improvements projects

Other: involvement in all the financial processes and related projects of CFM Inc on an as needed basis.

Job Requirements

Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
Minimum of 5 years directly related work experience.
Microsoft Office – Extremely high level of understanding and working in Excel
English
General knowledges of accounting (US GAAP, IFRS…)
Ability to analyze an Income statement and a Balance sheet and understand the interrelationships
