In the role of Supply Chain Administrator, you'll play a pivotal part on our Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain Administrator's main responsibility is to assist in the coordination of Supply Chain activities at Safran Water and Waste Systems in the Carson, CA location. This role supports buyers and managers by performing administrative functions that include entering, organizing, and coordinating data such that department records and MRP is kept current and accurate, required correspondence is sent to suppliers, supplier replies are gathered and organized, and missing data or documentation is obtained from supply base.

This position contributes to our vision by:
• Support the Supply Chain Team on different processes:
• Return to Vendor (RTV) : Ensure daily to send back defective parts to the suppliers
• PO Problem rack : Coordinate the resolution of the receiving the issues with the buyers, the suppliers and the receiving team
• Support the PO Placement / update the special projects.
• Support crisis reporting : 787 recovery
• Maintain M3 parameters up to date: Lead times, Prices, Batch size
• Assess current status of WWS activities performed locally
• Validate product list and suppliers
• Confirm Purchase Orders from WWS and track schedule to completion

The expected salary range for this position is between $17.78 - $27.94/hour USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma required or GED. Bachelor's degree in Business, preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience: 3+ years in supply chain administration, procurement, or business related field

Computer Skills:
•Familiar with Windows Operating System® and Office XP® (especially Excel®).
•Basic knowledge of other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Other Skills:
•Demonstrated ability to handle projects and assignments with attention to detail
•Problem solving and well organized

Additional Preferred Skills:
•5 or more years of experience in supply chain administration, procurement, or business related

Specificity of the job

Travel between manufacturing sites in support of Purchasing Manager may be required.
