In the role of Engineer II, you'll play a pivotal part on our Engineering Department team.
This position contributes to our vision by:
Reviewing and analyzing the system and equipment design for its compliance to the reliability and maintainability requirements per SAE ARP4761
Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Preliminary System Safety Assessment (PSSA) and System safety Assessment (SSA)
System Reliability Report (SRR) using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Common Cause Analysis (CCA) and Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
System Maintainability Report
Equipment Reliability Prediction, FMEA and FTA
Equipment Maintenance Cost and Maintenance Task Analysis
Reliability Demonstration Reports by Product Engineers
•Reliability and Maintainability Predictions and Reporting
Perform system and component reliability quantitative predictions (Part Count Analysis) per MIL-HDBK-217F, MIL-STD-785B, NRPD-95, ERPD-97 and FMD-97.
Prepare Piece Part Failure Modes and Effects and Criticality Analysis and Failure Modes and Effects Summary per MIL-STD-1629A and D6-56674.
Prepare Engineering Reliability Parts Prediction Count Reports (ERPPC)
RMS Engineer II is responsible for reviewing and analyzing the system and equipment design for its compliance to the safety, reliability and maintainability established in the specifications and/or contractual obligations.
The RMS Engineer II is responsible for collecting supporting data for the analysis purposes using industry handbooks and guidelines. Analyses include system dispatch and availability, equipment basic reliability and FMEA predictions, maintainability estimates for equipment maintenance cost and maintenance tasks analysis. The RMS Engineer II is responsible for RMS related documentations required for design reviews

The expected salary range for this position is between $66,560 - $103,790 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.

Job Requirements:
Education and/or Experience -
•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution (or equivalent experience)
•Desired minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in the design, development and testing of aircraft components and/or systems
