Job Description

o Managing both Supervisory and Technical functions within the Process Group
o including Heat Treatment, Materials Testing, Shot Peening, Non Destructive Testing , Surface Finishes and Paint
o Maintaining Technical Compliance of Special Processes
o Health and Safety and Environmental responsibility of Special Processes
o Responsibility for performance of NUCAP program audits within Special Processing including all Compliance and Customer Process Auditing
o Management of Revenue Expenses within budget.
o Process development employing Continous Improvement principals/initiatives
o Developing Technologies and new Processes to support business development
o Hold regular Quality Meeting supported by the Manufacturing Quality Team
o Load and Capacity Management for Special Processes including headcount
o Process Group Capex managment including MTP
o Production output management including Process Recoveries and OLE performance
o Management of Process Scrap and Rectification within budget (Technical input)
o Interfacing with customers to ensure production deliverables are fully met.
o Key player within the Global Special Processes Team, seeking best practices
o Project Management Accountable
o Develop and Support Process Group Project and Investment Planning processes
o QRQC Key Contributor
o Troubleshooting of Special Processes quality issues using 8D etc
o Management of Process Group Specification, Audit and Review program.
o Responsible for New Product introduction, tooling and DVI within Special Processes
o Calibration of all Plant and Equipment within Special Processes
o Maintains role as Engineering interface for Special Processes
o Communicates within Maintanance Organisation to optimise performance of Process Plant and Equipment
