Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partner with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar.
What will I be doing?
Your role as Electrical Maintenance Technician will be to provide efficient and effective electrical maintenance support around the site, including Operational Processing, DC & Assembly, Offices and Meeting Rooms. This will be achieved by regular Planned Maintenance programmes, supporting new projects and responding to unplanned maintenance requests.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To install, maintain, inspect and test electrical equipment and appliances to the required safety standards
To carry out diagnostic repairs and planned maintenance tasks to plant, equipment and electrical systems to ensure their continued efficient operation
To identify faults and implement repairs linked to faulty electrical plant and equipment
To provide technical assistance to all maintenance staff and engineers engaged in research, development, design and application
Enthusiastically support the CMMS (Computerised maintenance management system.)
To be committed to the provision of a consistent high quality service
To comply with all Health & Safety and security procedures and guidelines including COSHH
Identify areas for improvement and participate in continuous improvement activities
Liaising directly with manufacturers and maintenance sub-contractors
Undertake and support mechanical maintenance activities & projects when required
Working within the Change Management framework to achieve right first time approach to concept, design, installation, commissioning
Support the HS&E department to provide a safe and secure working environment
Production of Dynamic Risk Assessments

Job Requirements
Experience :
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Inspection & Testing City & Guilds 2391 (would be advantageous)
• Exposure to industrial plant & equipment electrical maintenance
• Ability to read, follow and understand electrical schematic drawings
• Use of technical knowledge by applying proven techniques to install, check and repair electrical systems
• Experience of health and safety standards to include COSHH, DSEAR, Lock off & Isolation
• Use a variety of hand tools & equipment effectively
• Excellent numeracy and computer skills
