Identify Operational improvement opportunities by using data analysis / information to improve the overall performance of the UAP. Introduce processes and procedures that control Cost, Quality and Delivery across the business
Work closely with Manufacturing Managers to drive performance based on company goals.
Recommend and update procedures and processes to improve performance.
Enhance workflow and cross-departmental engagements.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve cost-effectiveness across all programs.
Create monthly reports to senior management on the performance of the UAP.
Working within a Value stream to ensure cycle times and hours per unit are adhered to.
Work closely with the finance team to allow cost per units to be measured
Be a key player in the S&OP process to provide accurate for all resources to be available to achieve the plan.
Build a generic template that can be used to measure QCD across the whole UAP
Have a close working relationship with Project Leaders to ensure each project has the correct data required for successful completion of each project
Essential Skills, qualifications, competency areas
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
High proficiency in SAP
Strong leadership skills & ability to lead indirect teams (matrix management)
Strong attention to detail
Proven record of delivering sustained business improvements in operational environments
Understanding & use of data to drive informed decisions for process measurement systems
The ability to test/challenge current thinking & formulate new practices/policies
Excellent oral & written communication skills in English
Ability to work with Minimal supervision
Good interpersonal skills
Strong business acumen
Experienced in Integrated Business planning
