Job Description

Your main missions will be:
To disaggregate the Production Plan into a daily/weekly plan in order to achieve all customer commitments by testing the feasibility of the plan and resolving imbalances. To manage the parameters within the ERP system, in order to guarantee the quality of data for the detailed schedules.

Your principal activities will be:
Define the supply parameters in the ERP system within their scope of activity which are consistent with stock targets and the industrial strategy.
Ensures configuration management (updated articles, Classifications and BOMs in the ERP) maintain the changes record sheet
Develops the Master Production Schedule (MPS)
Disaggregates the Production Plan product families per MPS article reference to create the daily/weekly/monthly master schedule which covers the defined planning horizon
Undertakes RCCP to check the feasibility of the MPS against critical resources and provides recommendations through scenarios to the management team and escalates in cases of unmitigated discrepancy
Checks the overall coherency of data in the MPS in relation to the aggregated data in the production plan and validates the data at the end of the process with the Manufacturing unit management
Draws up the material requirements plan
Checks the action plan resulting from the previous MRP before launching the new MRP
Checks the consistency of the necessary information (available stocks, ranges, parts, lists, resources…)
Checks the consistency of the completed MRP in relation to requirements, current stocks and targets, repeats the MRP manually if necessary
Analyses and actions the necessary exception messages generated from the MRP
Confirms and communicates requirements and changes to the short term plan resulting from the MRP to internal/external scheduling teams by confirming any necessary modifications that are too be made
Lead the weekly MPS Meeting
Measure and analyse performance in coordination with the manufacturing unit using the defined metrics and provides the required weekly/monthly reports
Monitor and analyse the impacts of manufacturing defects in terms of yield and if necessary reschedule requirements to ensure commitments can be met, ensure yield is factored into future planning
Analyse the root cause of metrics not at target level and work with the manufacturing unit to develop the necessary action/recovery plans
Analyses the impacts of requests for technical changes within their scope of activity and implements the action plan after these requests have been validated
Makes suggestions for stock solutions to cover, service level requirements, new developments and sources and transfer plans and prepares the inventory forecasts
Interfaces with the commercial team to manage short term changes to demand plans and to notify of any disconnects

Job Requirements

MANDATORY EXPERTISE
Supply chain experience of 3 years
Familiar with the site's organisation is a plus
Detailed vision of production processes and their company's supply chain
Proficiency in the MRP2 process
Knowledge of business economics
Knowledge on the markets of Safran Group products
Capable of communicating with an English speaking production unit, both verbally and in writing

Familiar with desktop tools (intermediate to strong in MS Excel)
