Produce
Ensure the application of regulatory, labour and safety requirements within the scope of responsibility
Enforce the quality requirements of the product, the process and the equipment
Ensure compliance of the delivery of the product on time in full, derived from the Master Production Schedule and/or MRP requirements
Own the economic criteria considered in budgets
Ensure adequacy of the load and capacity (qualitative and quantitative) on all activities contributing to the performance of the manufacturing areas/s
Develop the spirit and sharing of know-how by leading improvement activities.
Lead collaboration and support for Production, Concurrent Process Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain is provided by the local support functions attached to the manufacturing area
Develop the individual and collective skills by driving development of staff to support succession planning and career enhancements, demonstrating innovation or entrepreneurship
Ensure the implementation and adherence to the standard operating procedures for all manufacturing operations as per company procedures
Implement and drive a ‘right first time' attitude within the manufacturing area
Ensure that all industrial means, plant and equipment, are maintained to Aircelle requirements and to take the responsibility for the first level maintenance. Coordinate with UAP stakeholders the level two and level three planned maintenance.
Provide proposals for capital investment to support the industrial strategic vision.
Management Responsibility
Lead the manufacturing area ensuring consistency in approach
Implement effective deployment of the human resources policy with support of the HR department
Identify and reduce risks concerning Health & Safety in accordance with Aircelle procedures
Implement resources and budgets set within the MTP Process
Manage preventative and corrective actions and verify their effectiveness
Ensure that 5S and GPI are completed every month
Ensure that all the visual management is up to date
Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve the objectives, including the development of apprentices
General
Accountable for the overall SQCDP performance within the manufacturing unit, enabling the Process Managers to drive performance within the defined process units using the defined metrics and provide the required weekly/monthly reports.
Drive the improvements on the metrics which are below the target level in line with the expected performance, including ability to influence cross functional resource requirements identified.
Lead QRQC for the manufacturing area, wherever deployed
Deliver effective communications to the teams within the manufacturing area
Foster partnership relationship with the unions
Participates to;
o UAP Governance and routines
o Daily execution and control room meetings
o QRQC Reviews
o Stock Ta
Complementary Description
To lead and manage a manufacturing area to ensure that customer demands and requirements are always met by executing the agreed short, medium and long term manufacturing plan through the management of all resources and performance levels.
