1. MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE FUNCTION
Ensure the deployment, the training and maintenance of the foundation digital solutions identified to answer a particular business need. These solutions are defined part of the Digital roadmap and need to be adapted to the specific challenges taking into account any regulatory, contractual, obsolescence, productivity, cybersecurity and operational considerations.

2.1 Direct Responsibilities in Process
Validate foundation integration within the Business
Working with Head of Digital Transformation to ensure group budgeted Foundations solutions are planned on site.
Review project planning of each foundation deployment, ensuring that sufficient resource is available to support each item in the Digital Roadmap.
Review the proposed foundation implementation
Review the 4.0 Digital Foundation proposed implementation and review any similar implementations that have been done within group, doing lessons learned on any previous implementations before finalizing the implementation plan.
Assist operations with the deployment and the evolution of foundation
Support operations with the planning of all aspects of the foundation implementation and evolution.
This includes the specification, planning, implementation of all necessary software and hardware requirements, training of operators and support staff, and collection and storage of associated documentation and associated data.
Creation of training document for operators and support functions (e.g. Works Engineers).
Ensure completion of HSE evaluations with no red risks allowable before hand over to production.
Support the operational teams in any improvements involving the foundation.
Support the lifecycle of the foundation, working
Animate key user technology network
As foundations are being deployed and evolve, identify Technology Key Users alongside with management team, ensure correct on going training of the key users and facilitate the key user networks.
Follow and respect any data governance directed from the Data Manager.
Measure and report effectiveness of foundation implementation
Review the effectiveness of any lever implementation, taking into account any defined SQCDP metrics and satisfaction of stakeholders. Compare the implementation against any similar levers implemented across the group to ensure continuous improvement of lever implementation within the Digital Roadmap.
2.2 Delegated Responsibilities
With consultation and agreement, the Head of Digital Transformation may delegate some tasks to the 4.0 Digital Foundation Manager but the accountability will remain with the Head of Digital Transformation.
The key attributes the Digital Foundation manager should have are:
- Proven record of project management and delivery [Mandatory]
- Ability to plan at a high level, zoom down to details and go back up [Mandatory]
- Willingness to learn new technologies [Mandatory]
- Be customer orientated [Mandatory]
- Good level of root cause analysis [Mandatory]
- Ability to speak to all level of the business [Mandatory]
- Relevant diploma in engineering or relevant topic [Mandatory]
- Speak French [Preferable]
