Job Description
The Product Quality Manager has the responsibility to ensure the quality of products and support the deployment of continuous improvement on quality activities for Electrical Insert Products
Complementary Description
- Represent customers' requirements within the organization
- Maintain the Quality System (local procedures & lower level documents) in accordance with the company standards
- Ensuring product compliance with specification, drawing, inspection standard i.e. dimensional, visual cosmetic criteria, functional, mechanical, and material and requirements are maintained appropriately.
- Handle of quality acceptance criteria in cooperation with customer acknowledgement or related parties to consolidate, define level of acceptance or boundary sample limit.
- Responsible for maintaining and ensuring measuring tools/measurement system are capable for monitoring production quality.
- Cooperating with cross functional team to improve product and control of internal NCRs
- Ensure the product has compliance with all internal, customer and applicable regulation standards.
- Implement a robust product/process control plan implementation for the various products of Electrical Insert by using the variety of input such as DFMEA, PFMEA, Drawing Notes, Risk Assessment and etc.
- Define, staff, and develop the QA Organization to ensure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to company Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) standards, detect and advise training needs, share information, participate in career management initiatives.
- Manage and coach QA team on non-conforming
Job Requirements
Product Quality Manager shall have the following qualifications:
- Completed education of not below Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or any related field
- Minimum of 5 years in Quality Management
- Strong knowledge and implementation of AS 9100 Aerospace QMS
- Strong leadership and motivational skills are required
- Knowledge of Quality tools in production (FMEA, Control Plan, 8D Process, MSA, SPC, Six Sigma, 5 Why, RCA, APQP, PPAP, Lean)
- Knowledge of Airworthiness compliance and regulatory
- Good English communication skills to enable efficient communication with oversea customers and understand technical documentation
