Job Description

To support the HSE Manager with operational HSE primarily within the factory environment.

- Support the review and redevelopment of COSHH Assessments including the assessing PPE suitability and breakthrough times, Face Fit Testing, Occupational Hygiene assessments, occupational health assessments, spill kit & bund management, and the creation and deployment of on-site training
- Support the review and redevelopment of Risk Assessments to make them process biased to improve hazard/control management & deploy risk assessment training
- Participate in Safran Ergo Training, and review site Ergonomic risk assessment
- Support HSE as required

- Support the review and redevelopment of COSHH Assessments
- Support the review and redevelopment of Risk Assessments
- Participate in Safran Ergo Training, and review site Ergonomic risk assessment
- Completion of Assessments and development of site risk register

Job Requirements

• NEBOSH Certificate essential / Diploma preferable
• Preferably HSE experience within a manufacturing environment
• Good interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of roles within a business.
• High standard of written and spoken English
• Effective in managing and prioritising workload to meet deadlines with a good attention to detail
• Ability to bring new ideas and positive energy
• Ability to demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to fulfil business needs
• Leadership and ability to impart knowledge and bring teams together on HSE topics
• Evidence of written English at interview stage. This will be through providing certification of a formal English or technical qualification studied in the UK or overseas in English. If this cannot be provided you will be required to complete and pass an online SHL English comprehension test as part of the interview process.
