Job Description

Responsible for:
• Internationally oriented warehouse activities for aviation products;
• Loading and unloading of containers/trucks;

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Make agreements with forwarders for the time of unloading of import shipments;
• Keep in touch with colleagues in Thailand about upcoming shipments;
• Assess whether the correct products and parts have been delivered on the basis of the order, consignment note or packing slip;
• Checking the incoming and outgoing materials, goods and parts for damage, article number and quantity;
• Accepting, unloading and storing incoming goods;
• Defining the storage location in the ERP LN system;
• Collection of products and parts and the associated transport documents on the basis of warehouse/sales orders;
• Regular contact with sales department about shipment progress;
• Packing and preparing for shipment, including foiling the orders;
• Register shipments with various forwarders;
• Printing out shipping documents such as packing slip, CMR and certificates;
• Shipping and loading outgoing goods;
• Moving, loading and unloading goods using a (reach) forklift and a pallet truck;
• Carrying out the associated administration in the ERP system and in Microsoft software;
• Managing the (non-)project related stocks;
• Collect orders with barcode scanner;
• Participation in an ERP system (SAP) implementation;
• End of year stock count;
• Observing daily activities in the absence of Shipping Manager;
• Ensuring a tidy warehouse;

Job Requirements

• VMBO/MBO Training Logistics Employee;
• VMBO/MBO work and thinking level;
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience;
• Experience with ERP systems;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
• Forklift certificate;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language (oral and written).
• Accurate, punctual and digitally skilled;
• Stress resistant and solution oriented;
• Positive, proactive and customer-oriented attitude;
• Team player;
• Takes responsibility and is reliable;
• Strong communication skills;
