Job Description
Based on compliance with the instructions and requirements described in SAESA's quality and safety management systems, OEM manuals, as well as customer specifications and applicable regulatory authority standards, the Tooling Design Engineer has the following responsibilities:
Design, modify, optimize and validate tooling required for production or repair methods for aeronautical components processed at SAESA.
Diseñar, modificar, optimizar y validar las herramientas de necesarias para los métodos de producción o reparación de los componentes aeronáuticos procesados en SAESA.
Complementary Description
Verify requirements, and their updates, from OEM and customer manuals.
Lead the design, consulting, manufacturing and follow up of the implementation of the tools.
Designing specific tools and proposing improvements to existing ones.
Lead improvement initiatives related to tools and associated processes.
Provide technical support to users regarding the proper use of the tools
Follow up on the evolution of tools and technically justify equivalences
Draw up manufacturing, assembly and control plans for the tools used in the workshop
Job Requirements
Manufacturing and assembly processes
Knowledge of engines (turbojets, turbofan, etc)
Technical documentation from customers, manufacturers and authorities(CFM, Delta, Goodrich
Heat and surface treatment, properties and selection of tooling materials
GD&T knowledge
Use of measuring instruments.
Reading and interpretation of drawings for manufacturing.
Knowledge of national and international standards for mechanical design
