Job Description
Provides technical support to any area in Shop related to the engine and its components. It is the focal point between the OEM and the Shop in order to clarify criteria, obtain repairs and propose improvements. All this by monitoring CSC cases based on instructions from OEM, Aeronautic Authorities and Customers.
Complementary Description
Specific job tasks:
-Provide answers and solutions to the technical questions, related to the product, from Production areas (different platforms).
-Provide technical support to the internal areas (Repairs, Inspection, Configuration, Procurement, etc)
-Create inquiry requests to OEM (CFM, Collins, Boeing, etc)
-Creation of instructions and reports for investigation engines.
-Cost avoidance by evaluation of OEM inquiries for engines in process
-Monitoring of workscope increments and analysis of cause
-Challenge of cases rejected by the OEM if applicable, providing a well sustained technical argument to achieve adherence to the original workscope.
-Analysis and proposal of instructions for rework.
IMPORTANT: On-call/extra shifts and a second shift will be required.

Job Requirements
-Management of aeronautical technical documentation (ESM, AMM, CMM, IPC, AD, SB, etc)
-Knowledge of aeronautical regulations (FAA, EASA, AFAC)
-Knowledge of Aircraft Systems (desirable)
-Blueprint interpretation, GD&T
-Knowledge of basic inspection methods and equipment
