Product Engineer

To manage her/his assigned product in a production environment. Key customer/CoE interface responsible for coordination of technical issues, deliveries, quality and cost. Provide and manage the internal direction to meet customer requirements as well as Yield, First Time Yield, deliveries and cost targets. Develop detailed plans, schedules, while tracking and reporting progress through implementation.

Owner of KPI's :Able to calculate, evaluate, ensure correct measurement and tracking of each KPI on any topic related to the product in order to achieve Yield, FTY, shipset target cost, delivery targets, global robustness and quality requirements
CoE interface and technical coordination;regularly communicates with all levels in CoE organization to coordinate all activities related with evolution on technical definition, work scope evolution, progress status, schedule and industrial changes, as well as to propose specification enlargements.
Support Production, Quality and Engineering to resolve non-conforming product issues and concerns. Ensure that proper problem solving methodologies are used to ensure non-recurrence of issues and lead necessary projects to improve reactivity to in-process events
Support key suppliers to improve quality and schedule from the beginning to the end of the manufacturing process
Be the interface to transfer knowledge from the CoE's DO, to Quality, Engineering and the operators on the production floor and back, and improve the production lead time
Evaluate and propose improvement of manufacturing methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality standards
Use statistical methods to evaluate current manufacturing capabilities of the product and to estimate future manufacturing requirements
