The Customer Support department Spares Supply Chain is responsible for forecasting, supplying and distributing spare parts on a global scale to operators / airlines, MRO and aircraft manufacturers. The delivery performance of spare parts is a key success factor in our business. The efficiency of the supply chain processes ensures performance while minimizing logistics costs and inventory levels.
As Demand & Supply planning Data Analyst, you will contribute to Demand and Supply Planning activities and you will have your own projects. You will bring value from Digital and Data automation at the heart of our organisation. In term of Spares management, your mission will be to achieve the best service level for our customers whilst maintaining the lowest stock level and minimising instability for our Supply Chain.
Based on this experience, you will gain a holistic view of a Safran Customer Support Department and Supply Chain.
• Drive up forecast accuracy
o Measure and report forecast accuracy
o Capture alerts and weak signals where the forecast deviates from assumptions
o Lead root-cause data analysis into major forecast variances
o Lead initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and stability
o Apply Data Analytics methodologies to recommend decisions based on data
• Manage data within Forecasting tool and ERP to ensure accuracy
o Audit, monitor data quality in our Forecasting tool and ERP and lead improvement plan
o Manipulate data for your adhoc analysis
o Automate tasks to focus on high value activities on medium/long term
• Lead project and drive the associated improvement plan
o Process automation with digital tools : Report improvement/automation
o Shortage analysis and anticipation (based on different demand scenario)
o Demand scenario analysis on production variation : how to increase production stability
o Safety Stock optimisation
o Forecast consumption analysis
o Develop forecast by Group of PN – find Causility and Correlation between PN
• Contribute to Demand and Supply Planning activities
o Build and maintain demand forecast and demand plan
Define and implement statistical forecast analysis
Work with Product Support manager, Supply Planning, Sales team and other key stakeholders to integrate market intelligence into the forecasts
Animate forecast review with appropriate Data Visualisation
