The Regional Sales Manager Airlines is responsible for Sales & Business Development for a dedicated territory in EMEA. He is accountable for Business Development & Sales activities from the definition of strategies & tactics to deal capture and for developing and maintaining strong customer intimacy.
Develop & maintain high Customer Intimacy with Airlines Customers
Identify key stakeholders & decision makers for Wheels & Brakes selection
Lead marketing activities towards existing & potential customers in a view of promoting WB capabilities, product & technologies
Establish & provide complex market & customer analysis (competition, customer needs and requirements, economical aspects, stakeholders, etc.)
Lead Sales campaigns and contract renewals for his area, from strategy & capture plan to deal closing, including tactical playbook, action follow up, presentations and representation towards the customer and negotiation
Provide a regular and robust business intelligence in his area of activities
Nurture strong relationships with customers by regularly visiting customers, attending trade shows and tracking needs, opportunities or weak signals
Responsible for WB fleet monitoring, in particular on new aircraft orders, retrofit opportunities
Ensure efficient collaboration with internal interfaces such as commercial support, contracts, customer support, etc.
Identification of new business opportunities
Management of commercial campaigns both externally and internally
Create robust & formal strategies for all commercial opportunities
Success on must-win campaigns as agreed upon with WB Management
Deep customer intimacy & satisfaction
Develop customer knowledge & understanding of SLS value proposal
Good coordination of our activities with Commercial Support & Customer Support
Bachelor / Master Degree
8+ years of Sales & Marketing & Management experience
Deep knowledge of Sales & Marketing, strategic sales width perspectives, Aeronautics markets & customers, advanced negociation, contract management, strategic marketing & bid management
Solid knowledge of Sales Administration, Finance
Solid knowledge of IS&IT for sales, incl. ERP
Fluent English, other language desirable
Strong business acumen, result orientation, proactivity and customer orientation
Analysis capability, synthesis, strategic thinking, emotional agility & reactivity
Strong interpersonal relations, communication skills and presentation
Specificity of the job
Up to 30% travel required.
