Providing support for the business applications and ensuring applications availability is the primary responsibility.
Manage the applications team and provide technical leadership and associated help.
Create, maintain and share the applications inventory and roadmap.
Manage the applications portfolio by enforcing a change control and update plan.
Ensure adherence to group standards.
Organize and coordinate the elements involved in an application project (technical analysis and design, development, and users).
Maintain control of software assets (Software Asset Management).
Creation and maintenance of plans to proactively address application obsolescence
Achieve successful results and outputs as planned in the strategic and work plans concerning business application projects and services.
xperience managing teams and applications in a manufacturing industry is required.
Deep knowledge in the following domains is required:
- ERP Management.
- Experience in SAP and/or Syteline ERPs is desirable.
- Experience in manufacturing business processes is desirable.
- Experience in ERP satellite applications such as electronic invoicing platforms, clock in/clock out software, interfaces to external systems (PLM, MES).
- Experience in IT project management
Knowledge in these domains is desirable:
- PLM (product lifecycle management) - Dassault systems for example
- MES (Manufacturing Execution systems) - Dassault systems for example
- Document, Records, Workflow management
- SharePoint Workflows
- Microsoft SQL Server
