Job Description
As a design/product engineer, you will establish, justify and maintain the definition of crew oxygen mechanical Aand pneumatic products used in civil aircraft applications but also for military aircrafts.
Complementary Description
Within the framework of concurrent engineering, you will be a key actor in the main steps of the product development:
a) Functional expression of the need with system engineers
b) Technical description of the need through functional analysis
c) Develop concepts ensuring that the customer requirements will be met
d) Build and consolidate the justification file of the definition through:
- Identification of similarities with existing devices,
- Specifiation of calculations/modeling with the simulation engineer,
- Specification of additional test plans
e) Follow-up and validation of the product qualification
You will deploy a risk management approach and apply problem solving methodologies. You will also contibute to the continuous improvement of internal processes.
Job Requirements
Technical skills:
- Experience in mechanical design
- Demonstrated knowledge in Pneumatics or compressible fluid
dynamics
- Basics of résistance of materials
Assets:
- Experience in aircraft products development
- Experience in pneumatic component design
- Basics of Reliability & Safety (FMEA, Failure trees ...)
