Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Research & Technology Software Developer to join our cutting-edge R&T team. In this role, you'll help design, develop, and implement advanced software solutions to push the boundaries of our products and services. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver with a passion for exploring emerging technologies and developing proof-of-concept applications.

As a Software Developer in our Research and Technology group, you will be instrumental in advancing our GNSS simulation systems. This role involves designing and developing resilient PNT (Position, Navigation, and Timing) services, prototyping new solutions for feasibility studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions. You will contribute to innovative projects, ensuring the reliability and resilience of our navigation and timing services, and meeting the evolving demands of global navigation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fast Prototyping and Experimentation: Actively research and evaluate new technologies to create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept applications, demonstrating their potential value within the organization.

• Software Development: Design, develop, and test high-quality software solutions to support research initiatives and translate concepts into production-ready systems.

• Technology Exploration: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying and integrating emerging software development frameworks, libraries, and tools into the development process.

• Data Analysis and Insights: Develop tools and scripts to extract meaningful insights from large datasets, identifying patterns and trends to inform research directions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with researchers, scientists, product managers, and other software developers to understand requirements, share knowledge, and ensure seamless integration of R&D solutions.

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong track record of building innovative applications.

• Required :
o English and French spoken and written required.
o Face-to-face on-site work at least 3 days a week.

Technical Skills:

o Proficiency & expertise in one or more modern programming languages:
 C++ (familiarity with C++11/14/17.
 Python 3.x is highly desirable.
 MatLab Simulink.

o Proficiency in data science libraries and tools (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.

o Experience in web development frameworks.
 React, Vue.js, Django, Flask.

o Working knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL databases).

o Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

o Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

o Proficiency in using version control systems, particularly GitHub, and experience in collaborating on code repositories and managing code merges, pull requests, and branches.

o Familiarity with Azure DevOps for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and agile project management.

o Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining APIs, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient data integration and interoperability between systems.

o Proven ability in developing plug-ins or extensions to enhance existing software functionality and integrate with third-party services or platforms.

o Familiarity with GNSS data processing, simulation techniques, and related mathematical models.

o Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

o Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
