Job Description
Main Mission:
The Financial Controller will be responsible for supporting the finance department in managing and monitoring the financial activities of the company, operating across both France and the USA. They will collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy in accounting data, generate financial reports, and participate in financial performance analysis, adhering to accounting standards such as US GAAP, French GAAP, and IFRS. Mastery of ERP SAP BPC and Power BI is crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Support:
• Assist in the entry of daily accounting transactions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, French GAAP, and IFRS using ERP SAP BPC.
• Prepare the monthly financial statements for both the US and French entities, utilizing Power BI for effective data visualization.
• Declare the monthly financial statements of the entity into Safran consolidation ERP SAP BPC
• Consolidate and communicate the intercompany operations with other subsidiaries
2. Cost Control:
• Perform the analysis of operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor budgets allocated to different departments, ensuring alignment with international accounting principles and utilizing Power BI for reporting and Excel.
3. Financial Reporting:
• Compile and analyze financial data to produce periodic reports in accordance with US GAAP, French GAAP, and IFRS, utilizing ERP SAP BPC for accurate consolidation.
• Prepare short term and long term cash-flow forecasts
• Elaborate budgets and 5 years plan for the company
• Elaborate Rolling Forecasts throughout the year
• Prepare management reports for the leadership team, presenting financial information relevant to the dual-country operations with the support of Power BI and Excel.
• Calculate and communicate Productivity and efficiency rates of the production departments
4. Financial Analysis:
• Prepare the analysis of budget variances and financial trends
• Participate in assessing the company's financial performance, providing insights into international financial metrics with the assistance of Power BI.
5. Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, French GAAP, and IFRS, actively staying updated on changes in international accounting standards with the support of ERP SAP BPC.
• Participate in external audits, coordinating efforts to meet the requirements of the regulatory environments.
• Manage the internal audit according to the group requirements, lead the action plans opened and communicate the results to the group

• Work closely with operational departments in both France and the USA to understand financial needs within the context of international accounting standards.

• Control and approve purchases up to a certain limit
• Manage company projects and initiatives, taking into account the diverse financial requirements of dual-country operations.
Job Requirements
• University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a financial or accounting role preferred, with exposure to international finance.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, French GAAP, and IFRS.
• Proficiency in ERP SAP BPC, Power BI and Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Speak French and English
