Are you ready to join a Division committed to excellence in performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. As we continue to expand our global presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Power Division Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Risks Director.
Main Stakes of the Position:
Ensure airworthiness compliance across the division
Ensure customer satisfaction in terms of quality, on-time delivery improvement, and cost reduction
Reduce internal non-quality and overall costs while meeting quality targets
Harmonize processes and standards across various sites
Ensure quality of development projects within the division
Integrate former Thales perimeter and manage certifications and process convergence
Accompany transfers of sites in Singapore and Orlando
Ensure success of SAP harmonization for quality processes
Coordinate Power Division improvement plan and performance plan
Properly manage risks within the Power Division
Promote and develop QRQC, One Safran, and Lean culture
Support governance process through management of KPIs and balance scorecards
Tasks and Responsibilities:
As the Power Division Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Risks Director, you will:
Ensure customer and authorities satisfaction in terms of safety, service, cost, and performance
Develop quality culture across all division activities and promote methodologies for quality improvement
Lead the deployment of operational excellence initiatives
Monitor products and services, implement corrective actions, and propose vetoes if necessary
Manage quality-related tools and activities, enhance coordination between sites, and ensure compliance with quality management systems
Maintain and analyze quality KPIs and take relevant actions
Interface with internal and external stakeholders, represent quality in divisional committees, and manage a distributed team
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Experience in quality management within the aerospace industry
Regulatory approval knowledge (EN/AS, EASA, FAA, CAA, etc.)
Technical background with proficiency in Safran quality tools
Proficient in written and spoken English language
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership skills for engaging team members and stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to drive significant change with rigor and expertise in presenting results
Specificity of the job
Division represents a significant financial weight and is spread across multiple countries
Supported by site quality managers/directors, continuous improvement coordinators, and risks managers
Involved in supporting Thales integration and renewal of agreements
