Job Description

Within the IT department of Safran Landing Systems, attached to SLS head office (Vélizy-Villacoublay) and reporting to the head of Projects Team and PMO, as a real project leader, you coordinate internal and external actors to ensure the successful delivery of single or multiple projects within scope, quality, time and cost constraints.

Responsible of the quality of the project deliverables and their validation, you formalize, challenge and manage all the stages and dimensions of the project from the expression of needs to the deployment into production while respecting costs and delays.
As well, you lead change management and ensure communication related to the project.
You will have to interact with multiple stakeholders (customers, developers, sales, providers …) based in Europe and North America.

Complementary Description

Main Responsibilities :
- Appropriate the methodology in place to be able to:
o Support the project managers in day to day activities
o Provide support to project teams on the production of deliverables
o Participate in the evolution of project methodologies. Be proactive in improving the processes in place (in compliance with SLS and centrail IT Department)
o Analyze existing deliverables and optimize them
- Management of SLS IS Project Portfolio
o Be responsible for the updating and quality of information
o Animation of portfolio reviews
o Validation of "Gates" allowing the transition of the project to the next phase
o Definition and monitoring of KPIs
o Reporting and Communication at different management levels
o Identify the risks of IS projects in your portfolio
- Demand management
o Capacity Plan Arbitration Review
- Project quality assurance
o Quality audit of project deliverables
- Outsourcer Follow-Up
o Monitoring and escalation of project requests with our outsource

Job Requirements

Required qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
• 5+ years of experience in project management PMO missions
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and PMI, Prince 2, P3O, Managing Successful Programs, Agile, SCRUM, …
• 5+ years of experience working within a cross-functional matrix and international environment
• Competent with software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects and PPM tools
• Experience in IT project management and knowledge of the life cycle of an IT project
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve a common objectives demonstrating teamwork
• Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
• Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple organizations
• Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and capacity to summarize
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work in an international and multicultural environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in problem-solving
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and challenging demands
• Results Orientation (sets and accomplishes challenging goals, defines standards, takes calculated risks to achieve results)
• Fluent in English and French
