The Supply Chain & Inventory Analyst will be responsible for assembling supply chain (Logistics, Procurement, Inventory and Planning) data and the analysis of that data to determine & track performance, identify gaps/issues and develop recommendations to support continuous improvement efforts in these areas while accounting for all stakeholder needs in each process.

Complementary Description

Work with Supply Chain Management to collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, and Finance to identify opportunities for business process improvements, and make recommendation for system modifications.
Help improve and maintain Supply Chain & Inventory Reporting including the development of new KPI dashboards in collaboration with internal customers.
Analyse, update and maintain ERP Master Data to optimize inventory targets to support On-Time-Delivery (OTD) targets while mitigating scrap risk.
Determine opportunities for increased utilization of inventory (Purchased and Manufactured) and lead or assist with associated Turn-Around-Time (TAT) improvement projects.
Assist with capacity planning efforts.
Ensure improvement efforts remain compliant with customer and regulatory requirements and all internal controls.
Ensure the accuracy of production inventory and warehouse process controls while adhering to Internal Control, Lot Control, and all traceability requirements.
Support Investigations/Inventory reconciliation efforts (component where-used, availability, transaction history etc.)
Root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies to identify procedural OFIs
Generate, Maintain, and Improve Supply Chain documentation such as work instructions and forms
Occasional back-up to Planning or Procurement activities.
Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management preferred, but a related Degree/Diploma (e.g. in Business Administration, Accounting, or Engineering) along with a certification in Supply Chain Management may be substituted.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a complex production and planning environment preferred.
Minimum 5 years' combined experience with data analysis and process improvement preferred.
Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.
Experience in electronics manufacturing preferred.
Must be familiar with logistics and production planning concepts; experience in various supply chain roles and functions an asset (Planning, Logistics, Procurement) an asset.
Project management experience and skills an asset.
Experience with S&OP processes an asset.

Excellent knowledge of ERP MRP II environments, with specific competency in inventory management and production control.
Ability to translate theory into practice.
Expert-level skills with databases and spreadsheets.
Very strong critical/creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to document processes in a clear manner.
Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills; ability to juggle and manage competing priorities in a constantly changing environment.
Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines.
Demonstrated capability to manage projects and achieve results in a self-driven manner by utilizing a data-driven, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
Possess excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with individuals at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience and comfort with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, RCA, DMAIC, 5S, Bottleneck analysis, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Factories etc.).
