Job Description
The Methods agent is responsible for assessing, performing audits, and proposing revisions of methods of operation, policies and procedures, forms, reports, material handling, or other changes to increase production or improve standards. This position reports to the Methods Manager.
Summary of Duties :
Define and describe work instructions for the production from engineering drawings (structural, mechanical or electrical assembly).
Assess production costs and analyze production time.
Ensure various follow-ups (respect of given instructions, technical responses, non-conformities, procedures, etc.).
Participate & contribute in the choice of manufacturing methods and the improvement of production tools.
Provide technical assistance for production (problem solving while taking in consideration the unforeseen).
Take on the role of technical interface between engineering and production teams.
Address modifications/changes requests to the engineering team.
Monitor dashboard in order to follow work progress.
Report to the supervisor any deficiency or major issue.
Job Requirements
Education: College degree in a related field
Experience: minimum 2 years of experience in methods or manufacturing experience
Computer Skills: Familiar with Windows Operating System® and basic knowledge of Catia V5
Other Skills: Proficient with reading engineering blue prints and familiarity with various disciplines of Aerospace such as design and manufacturing is strongly desired, team player and proactive.
Languages: Ability to communicate in French and English.
