Manufacturing Engineer (Sheet Metal)
Safran Nacelles
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Working on industrialisation and project activities within the sheet metal UAP. You need to able to work to tight deadlines, have good written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to coordinate and manage relationships with internal and external customers both in the UK and France.

The ideal candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and be motivated by completing tasks in a timely manner. You also need to be self driven, resourceful, independent whilst still working in a team environment, be target driven and be able to communicate at all levels of the business. You will be required to communicate opportunities and work within the operational and design teams to develop most efficient ways to use people, parts and tooling. Highlighting areas that can be improved and working with the operations team to implement these changes by creating action & timing plans that can be used to measure the implementation progress.

Job Requirements

- Manufacturing Engineering experience, with a good understanding of sheet metal and the manufacturing processes - hot forming preferred.
- Good knowledge of Metallic materials (Titanium, Aluminum).
- Experience of using / implementing lean and Quality tools
- DATA management (drawings, Catia V5, master layouts, batch cards)• SAP Skills (routings, materiel masters, BOMs)
