Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for providing marketing and communication services to support the Sales and Marketing team. The position is responsible for the timely and successful delivery of campaigns, marketing collateral and projects across Safran Electronics & Defense Australasia (SEDA) brands and channels. This role will also execute the Safran Electronics & Defense Australasia (SEDA) marketing strategy under the guidance of the Head of Sales & Marketing.

• Manage the Marketing and Communications of SEDA
• Establish market surveys and benchmark SEDA products and services
• Write press releases and marketing documentations
• Organisation of local seminars, exhibitions and conferences
• Direct Customer and Partners relationship management
• Periodic press reviews
• Work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to execute the SEDA marketing strategy
• Communication across multi-disciplined technical/sales team
• Promote our products and services during events
• Coordinate the design of promotional material and distribute in online and offline channels
• Advertise our company and products/services on various media
• Produce marketing copy for SEDA website
• Craft and send regular newsletters with company updates internally
• Actively involved in social media groups and professional platforms to discuss industry-related topics
• Monitor corporate website and social media pages and address clients' queries
• Network with industry experts and potential clients to drive brand awareness
• Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams

Job Requirements

• Tertiary Education in a Marketing or Communications
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Sales, Marketing, or Communications role
• Strong written communication skills
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Internal and external stakeholder management skills
• Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Basic skills in Excel
• Some commercial, negotiation and/or financial management skills would be advantageous

• Sound administrative skills with a proven ability to stay organised, tracking jobs/documentation as they progress through the system
• Must display initiative and be proactive in seeking solutions
• Well-developed problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Strong customer service ethic and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build & maintain superior customer relationships
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
• Interest in advanced defence technologies
