We are currently seeking candidates who are wishing to commence a 4 year apprenticeship in February 2022 to become trade qualified as an Aircraft Mechanic.
For the duration of the 4 year apprenticeship program, through a combination of on the job training and attendance at TAFE to complete the Certificate IV Aeroskills
SAFRAN apprentices will gain the following experience & qualifications:
• Gas turbine engine repair & overhaul;
• Assembly / Disassembly and Detail Inspection experience;
• Experience & qualifications on one or more of Safran engine variants (including MTR390 / RTM322 / APU 323 / 329)
The successful candidate will have completed (or be currently completing) the Higher School Certificate, or equivalent, with a focus on Maths and Physics.
They will also display a genuine interest in and knowledge of the aerospace industry demonstrated by one or more of the following:
• previous work experience;
• participation in home or recreational mechanical / maintenance activities; and/or
• performance in related school subjects.
