Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; others may be assigned:

  • • Establish the IPTs for specific programs
  • • Ensure effective communication of the program objectives and requirements
  • • Establish key program deliverables
  • • Create and Implement Program Management Plans
  • • Establish program schedules and manage schedule adherence
  • • Lead and Review decisions for the program in conjunction with Managers and Supervisors from other departments
  • • Plan internal tollgates and track progress towards tollgates
  • • Audit internal tollgates and stand in as the Toll Gate leader when appropriate
  • • Manage program changes and impact to budgets and business cases
  • • Propose and review Program Changes and impacts to budgets
  • • Update KPIs and tracking of program progress
  • • Interface with customers managing the deliverables, contractual commitments, specification requirements, gate reviews, schedule status and production forecasts
  • • Manage the program risks for all aspects of the programs assigned to
  • • Lead monthly reviews of risks, forecast, NPD Planning, and Budget/cost management meetings
  • • Manage the production configuration and program changes following all company processes
  • • Negotiate and implement process changes with approval from Director of Program Management.
  • • Manage new program production planning of development, qualification and flight test hardware in conjunction with Engineering and NPD Manufacturing
  • • Support Engineering in Test Readiness Reviews, Test Planning, design changes and other aspects as required

  • • Ability to lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary and crossfunctional team
  • • Ability to organize and plan projects, including complex collaborative projects with partners
  • • Ability to communicate within and outside the company at the highest level
  • • Analytical and diagnostic skills
  • • Expanded knowledge of certification, including specific commercial or military standards and RTCA DO-160 requirements
  • • Familiarity with Software Certification and the Stages of Involvement (SOI) process
  • • Expert level knowledge of risk management and configuration management
  • • Ability to work with others, including in a multicultural, multisite and multinational team
  • • Good command of English
