Job description

Safran Cabin Materials located in Marysville, WA is recruiting for a:

Supply Chain Manager - Salary $80-90k year

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for maintaining material control fundamentals while working to eliminate part shortages at our Marysville & Newport facilities.
Oversee Inventory Control, Planning, Purchasing, and Business Analysts, as applicable.
This role reports to the GM/EVP.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

Identifying ways to eliminate shortages.
Train and develop material control, planning and purchasing staff.
Prepare and present evaluations to employees and set expectations and indicate areas of improvement.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the MRP system.
Work with corporate material control to maintain all KPI's.
Coach individual departments to work as a cohesive material control department
Lead and participate in problem solving for purchasing, materials and material control processes at individual divisions.
Examine documents, materials, and products and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
Review production schedules, work orders, and current staff to determine personnel and materials requirements and priorities.
Confer with managers of other departments to assess current progress and discuss needed changes to Bills of Materials.
Active participation in operational improvement activities.
Other task as needed and flexibility is key.

Job requirements

BA or equivalent is preferred.
5-10 years of Material Control experience.
Experience with Manufacturing Processes preferred.
2-5 years of experience in a Managerial role.
Familiar with Windows Operating System®, Microsoft Office Suites® and experience with an MRP system, or ability to learn MRP system.

Fluent communication in English. French basics would be a plus.
Employment status is full-time.
Traveling is required.
Protracted or irregular hours may be required.
Relocation to another Cabin Branch facility may be required.
