Job description

Job Summary
The Logistic Coordinator primary function is to coordinate the organization's daily logistical operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment and distribution. This job will report to the Material Control Manager.

Summary of Duties
Participate in and provide results of performance indicators development and analysis.
Review and analyze production/run time main schedules and report on required changes with a view to harmonize the ERP system with Production/Schedule.
Participate, in collaboration with various areas within the department, in the development of material delivery to production systems.
Ensure that materials and parts are available and are delivered to production with time frame required and report on results.
Participate in proactive opportunity identification for continuous improvement.
Participate in department interdisciplinary improvement projects such as Lean manufacturing initiatives, cost reduction, etc.

Job requirements

Education: CEGEP engineering diploma and/or university degree in production management or equivalent experience.
Experience: 5-year minimum experience in aeronautics. 5 -10 years logistics experience with ERP environment. Knowledge of M3 (Movex) is an asset.
Computer Skill: Fully proficient with Windows Operating System®, Office XP®,
Other Skills: Customer oriented, able to comply with deadlines and take the leadership. Self-reliant and organized. Strong ability to be influential in changes and make decisions. Manufactured product knowledge is an asset. Must have strong knowledge of Lean principles.
Languages: Ability to communicate in French and English.
