Job description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Line & Site Operations is a business unit for Engine Services, dedicated to Customers. It has a broad panel of activities such as:

  • - Tooling management
  • - LRU (Line Replaceable Unit) services management
  • - On Wing and On Site Engine Maintenance capabilities
All those services have a common goal, minimise interruptions in the Aircrafts operation and keep them flying as long as possible.

In this business unit, LRU Services are provided to Airlines and consist of:

  • - Managing the repair process of all unserviceable LRUs resulting of an unscheduled removal
  • - Provide an exchange unit from a centralized Pool if this option has been selected
  • - Ensure that an On Site Stock is at ideal level to cover any removal on a critical item

CFM and Safran Aircraft Engines have won a large contract with American Airlines that include this LRU Service. Safran Aircraft Engines is therefore looking for a local representative to ensure highest level of Customer Service.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

The local representative aims to improve the Customer satisfaction and to streamline the process of repair for all parts removed.

In this frame the responsibilities will be:

  • - Manage locally the equipment to be repaired
o Ensure transportation scheme is in place and working
o Make sure drop shipment process is working as planned
o Guide customer through our industrial scheme
o Follow up of WIP, and perform communication to the customer for all equipment under repair
o Manage the equipment inside the ERP system

  • - Act as first point of contact in all LRU related questions
o Provide feedback to customer on any technical or process related item
o Provide Front Office feedback to LRU Teams
o Understand process of customer's Main and secondary bases and influence on our process

  • - Monitor the performance of the LRU Contract
o Generate weekly reports to the customer
o Follow up the KPI plan built
o Work closely with Contract Manager for Quarterly Business Reviews

Job requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum requirements for Education: BSc in aeronautical or mechanical

  • - Experience in logistics
  • - Excellent communication skill and diplomacy
  • - Ability to work in full autonomy
  • - Good inter-personal and inter-group skills
  • - High language proficiency
  • - Knowledge of the MRO is a plus
  • - Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • - Knowledge in French would be appreciated
