Job description

The project engineer will be responsible for the following tasks :

  • - Generate new R&D and technology bricks
  • - Bring R&D and technology brick to maturity through the TRL gates process
  • - Follow the development process of new product development
  • - Bring technical expertise during the creation of new product development
  • - Model in CAD innovative solutions for prototyping or production and provide technical support for running programs
  • - Create innovative solutions for new seats and new cabin arrangements
  • - Prepares and participates in internal design reviews and customer reviews, such as PDR, CDR
  • - Develop cost, weigh, and structure analysis for conceptual projects
  • - Develop, coordinate or support mechanical solutions to mature conceptual projects
  • - Develop, coordinate or support engineering solutions to fit aerospace standards and regulations

Job requirements

The project engineer will work in collaboration with :

  • - Work closely with the Advance Concept Team (designers and engineers)
  • - Work with the global teams in UK, France, USA and Mexico
  • - Support Sales, Marketing and Architect teams globaly
  • - Interact with outside suppliers and lead the creation of prototypes for testing, RFP and tradeshow purposes
  • - Interact with outside suppliers in order to develop technological solution
