Job description

1) Occupational Summary:

This position will create and oversee the development and implementation of a common set of operational processes. Responsible for ensuring compliance and providing consistency in standard work, processes, procedures and training; utilizing leading industry standard tools and processes for the Program Management Organization (PMO) and the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

2) Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):

A) Oversee the creation, development and implementation of detailed Subject Matter Expert (SME) training for new and existing IPT members.
B) Conduct training for core IPTs (Program Management, Project Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality) as needed.
C) Responsible for the facilitation and participation in process improvement initiatives as needed; including corporate directives.
D) Provide assistance with Integrated Scheduling (incl. Planisware tool), Prompt Processes (incl. Toll Gate Process), reports, schedules, metrics and program data.
E) May act as primary point of contact for all Program Management audits; internal and external.
F) Oversee and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
G) Review status reports prepared by PMO personnel and support the modification of schedules or plans as needed.
H)
I) Assist with problem resolution regarding various processes that are associated with the IPTs.
J) Responsible for the facilitation and participation in functional leadership meetings as needed.
K) Provide support to the IPTs and respective areas of assignment as needed.
L) Performs other duties as assigned.

Job requirements

3) Qualification Requirements:

A) Knowledge and Skills:

i) Demonstrated effective leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
ii) In-depth knowledge of program management and relationships between line functions.
iii) A very good working knowledge of the standard suite of office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) is required.
iv) Knowledge of training development software, tools, and resources highly desired.

B) Education and Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field is required. An additional four (4) years related experience and/or training is also required.
Experience managing complex projects/programs that span several customers, requiring coordination of technology and/or production across locations.
OR

A Master's degree in Business Management or related field is required. A minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training is required. Knowledge of training development software, tools, and resources highly desired.

C) Competencies:

D) Communication Skills:

Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

E) Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve problems and think strategically.

4) Physical Demands:

This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job.
