Duties and Responsibilities (essential functions):
Performs all types of internal audits (system, product, process, etc...) at Safran Seats USA LLC.
Maintain records, files, and all documentation in support of the internal auditing function.
Write and update Quality Assurance procedures when necessary.
Establish and maintain schedules for audits.
Maintain compliance with IAQG AS 9100 Quality Management System requirements.
Generate reports detailing audit activity and results, tracking trends.
Assign, track and verify corrective actions found during internal and customer audits.Host external auditors as needed
Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action processes related to audit closure activities.
Working knowledge of Windows based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational skills in an office environment
Working ability to verbally and in writing communicate effectively with upper Management, as well as, shop floor personnel.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadlines
Train other personnel as identified in Audit methods and techniques.
Must be able to gain familiarity with various processes/procedures and have ability to assess compliance level with required element.
Must be able to read and understand detailed blueprints and drawings of a technical nature.
Must be able to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Associates Degree or equivalent (3 years related) work experience.
3 years previous auditing or Quality Assurance experience required, Aerospace is preferred.
ASQ Certified Quality Auditor certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Lean principles training also preferred
