Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

As part of financial policy of risk management and cash recovery management, the credit manager will limit the risk of default and insure regular payments of the debts of customers under his responsibility (China region).

  • • Manage the strategy implementation process in order to monitor the effectiveness of credit control procedures and policies
  • • Manage customer credit terms to minimize risk of bad debts (airlines, maintenance repair stations, airframers, brokers)
  • • For risk customers, set up weekly reports on their condition/state of delivery
  • • Ensure that terms of payments and credit limits are respected
  • • Apply the Credit Control process and take part in their improvement
  • • To insure receivables collection
  • • To insure customers operational follow up (unsolved disputes, delivery policy)
  • • Cash and debt collection via telephone/mail/liaison visits
  • • Processing credit applications
  • • Negotiation with customer on crisis situations
  • • To liaise with commercial offices and Customer Support Management for identifying and resolving problems
  • • To validate bad debt reserve under proposal
  • • To participate to the elaboration of the monthly dash board
  • • Perform other related duties as required

Experience/Education/Certification Required:

  • • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
  • • Minmum of 2 years of experience in finance/economy or support fonctions
  • • Must be fluent in English & Chinese
  • • Must have at least intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • • SAP Software skills are preferred
  • • Ability to travel up to 10% domestic and Internationally
