PowerJet is a 50/50 joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines and UEC Saturn of Russia. PowerJet supplies an integrated and optimized regional jet propulsion system, comprising the engine, accessories, nacelle (from Safran Nacelles) and thrust reversers.
The SaM146 integrated propulsion system features exceptional performance in terms of availability, fuel consumption, emissions and maintenance.

A complete range of support services
PowerJet provides Superjet 100 operators with a complete range of support services under the PowerLife™ brand, covering the entire SaM146 propulsion system, including engine and nacelle.
Within PowerJet, Safran Aircraft Engines is responsible for the overall design and certification of the SaM146, as well as the development and production of the engine core, the control and transmission systems, integration of the propulsion system and flight testing.
