First flight of the Marboré 1, marking the beginning of Turbomeca turbojet engines

The Turbomeca Marboré 1, Turbomeca’s first centrifugal turbojet engine, made its maiden flight on the Fouga Gémeaux. Designed to deliver 300 kg of thrust, it marked the beginning of Turbomeca’s turbojet engine development.
