The Cost Accountant is responsible for analyzing material costs, personnel costs, and overhead costs within the company
The Cost Accountant shall provide the following services to accomplish the above:
1. Prepare, analyze, and report overhead costs and administrative expenses on a monthly basis (FOH).
2. Prepare, analyze, and report variance analysis for the production department on a weekly and monthly basis.
3. Conduct yearly standard cost roll-ups (BOM and operation run rate).
4. Prepare and monitor WIP reports and inventory provision reports.
5. Prepare, analyze, and report sales, costs, and GCM on a weekly basis.
6. Prepare and review the Purchase Price Variance (PPV) report and the Standard Cost Change report on a monthly basis.
7. Prepare detailed account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
8. Coordinate with other departments on costing and inventory issues.
9. Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closing activities, as well as assist with the annual audit.
10. Perform other duties as assigned or required by the RU Controller, Accounting & Finance Manager, or other departments.
Parlons de vous
1. A bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent field with a curriculum related to accounting, costing, finance, etc.
2. Good command in English.
3. Good knowledge of Accounting Standards and Manufacturing process.
4. Ability to perform analysis and basic communication in English
5. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the costing field.
