In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England.
Due to expansion we are recruiting for an Engineering Systems Technician that will act as a focal point / system administrator for all changes to ERP item data.
What will I be doing?
• In alignment with the Industrial strategy for the project, analysis of 3D model data to conduct the make v buy decision on new project item requirements
• Administrative control and management of ERP system item group settings for all manufactured and purchased items
• Administrative support for basic engineering functions within the ERP system, i.e., data input, dummy BOM's, cost price errors etc.
• MU focal for CCB / ECR meetings to minimise the risk and cost associated with product design changes

What do you need from me?
•Understanding of ERP systems (BaaN/M3) or similar ERP experience.
•Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
•Understanding of manufacturing capabilities and local product knowledge.
•Analysing ability
•Decision making ability
•Good communication & people skills

•Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
•Strong technical administration skills
