- The Configuration Management (CM) expert is supporting the operational roles (configuration managers and change managers) in their daily tasks on CM in each of the 7 sites
- The CM expert is building a sustainable CM network to foster homogenous and best practices among the 7 sites
- The CM expert helps to maintain and enhance process, tool and organization on a very practical Configuration Management, ensurING the up-to-date documentation.

• The CM expert is supporting the operational roles in their daily tasks on CM :
- Validating CM plans and updates on each new Product Lines
- Support CM to make the right choices on configuration identification (configuration items primarily)
- Audit the change process on a regular basis
- Support and audit how the configuration is controlled on each programs (formal baselines for milestones, archiving…)
- Set the configuration audit plan and execute with the configuration managers

• The CM expert must build and maintain a network of Configuration Managers and Change Managers across the company. Typically, a weekly coordination meeting and thematic workshops are required to share best practices, lessons learned. Safran Seats legacy is uneven CM practices. Its future shall be homogenous and state-of-the art CM practices, fuelled by Windchill poorly curstomized PLM.

• The CM expert is the owner of the CM processes across the company. He/She must be involved in each request for process/tool/organization changes (either incident report or request for enhancement), fostering for the best compromise. This role is making sure of the thoroughness of the change plan and implementation. The CM expert must not always know what to do at first, but In this role, you must always help the team to find an option with all the impacts fully assessed before making decisions.

Experience in Configuration Management (CCM2 certified)
Ability to work across disciplines
Quality oriented
Fluent in French and English
Proficient communication and presentation skills
Sound organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage and meet deadlines
Empathy to understand other's issues and offer workaround
Promote co-construction
to ensure its ownership by stakeholders
