MISSIONS

Work as part of a team of NC Manufacturing Engineers to ensure a smooth production process, through evolving and introducing the most suitable manufacturing processes for SAFRAN products that deliver safe, high quality, repeatable, cost effective solutions with agreed, calculated time outputs. Provide line/process support to the industrial function, problem solving, taking corrective actions and identifying further opportunities. The team will focus on the programming and support of CNC machine tools and Robotic cells. This specific role will involve the support laser ply projection, 5 axis programming and sheet metal NC processes, including laser weld and cutting

Et en complément ?

PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES

Design to produce at objective cost
 Define manufacturing processes, ensure all processes are consistent and compliant with specifications
 Design manufacturing processes with a Takt/Flow philosophy and ergonomic risks in mind
 Create and validate standard operating procedures, work instruction sheets, quality control points, methods of inspection and controls approval authorities for engineering disciplines
 Create work instruction sheets, tooling requests and production support drawings
 Ensure that the performance of the process meets the defined targets (quality, cost, delivery)
 Provide expert guidance to suppliers (internal and external)
 Plan, drive and coordinate the activities contributing to the industrial product validation (methods, purchasing, engineering ...) in order to meet the defined targets, quality, cost, delivery
 Establish global manufacturing process concepts, oversee the selection of plant and equipment and the preparation of factory layouts, and support the definition of detailed workplace layouts for machine tools
 Manage engineering risk within SAFRAN by using a PFMEA approach and through the use of SPC to ensure sustainability and a repeatable manufacturing process

Manage programs
 Pilot development projects and ensure compliance with the schedule and cost targets
 Manage the technical and budgetary gaps in relation to the program
 Evaluate the risks of changes and offer these risk reduction
