Functions
• Develop CNC programs based on Vertical Integration objectives and Product Scope (Single Part Machining, and Buy-to-Make initiative).
• Develop CNC programs looking the optimization of cycle time and takt time standards and plans to achieve them integrate plan for the design, manufacture and implementation of new tools or prototypes from the tooling engineering teams on the new program.
• Analyze and manage industrial process and product risks during development of CNC programming and all related CNC machining activities.
• Work with the design and manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processes for each product type from CNC programming point of view.
• Provide feedback to design group for DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly).
• Support manufacturing metrics in line with pilot control standard KPI's and communicate performance on a regular basis.
• Lead and implement lean manufacturing practices.
• Lead, participate and develop innovation ideas, kaizen and continuous improvement events.
• Support departmental objectives.

Education: Professional degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Aerospace Engineering
Experience: 5 years minimum experience in 5-axis CNC programming.
Certifications: Green belt six-sigma (desirable)

Job Knowledge:
• Experience in industrialization for new products or insourcing, especially in metal parts machining with CNC 5 axis machine.
• Knowledge and experience on special processes post machining.
• Proficiency in drawing interpretation, EBOM, DFMEA (design failure mode and effect analyzes) and geometric tolerances (GD&T)
• Understanding of part application, functional requirements, and identify key characteristics.
• Risk management and KPI monitoring experience (desirable).
• Experience with continuous improvement activities such as kaizen, lean, six sigma and cost reduction.
• Advance Microsoft office tools knowledge.
• Advance knowledge in machining process (CNC process).
• Proficient in use of AutoCAD (LT 2018 and newer) and CAD / CAM Programs (MasterCAM, Solidworks).
• SAP / ERP knowledge (desirable).
• Process improvement and lean six-sigma tools knowledge (desirable).

• Organized, able to handle multiple projects with a minimal supervision.
