Parlons de votre future mission

European Business Development Director has to develop relationship for Safran Landing Systems with major European OEM customer on future business. She/He will have to develop, to maintain and to prepare exchanges at different level (Operational or Exec) to:
1/ anticipate future RFI/RFP for Business
• Develop in line with SLS sovereignty strategy the European Military roadmap and engagement plan (FCAS, Future transport, SATOC, Helicopters..),
• Coordinate activities with SAFRAN teams on EU/UK Military projects,
• Work with R&T team to manage coordination and links between the Validated Business Development target programs and the R&T Technical roadmap to ensure alignment,
• Work with global Business Development / Sales / Commercial teams to identify opportunities with OEM to showcase our R&T projects with aim of having product on new platforms
2/ support funding requirements for European R&T,
• Research actively funding in relation with European, national representatives and private equities,
• Identify potential R&T funding in relationship with future business programs and/or strategic R&T projects (CIDEF, EIQMG, clean aviation),
• Coordinate on behalf of SLS any global opportunities for funding US, Canada… in conjunction with relevant functions (Technical, Commercial, R&T, Biz Dev..)
3/ prepare Strategic partnerships (military):
• Coordinate Military EDF DGA EDA Captech materials and EDA Aerial Captech (European Joint Undertaking) and work to identify needs from French Army and DGA,
• Identify and formalize strategic partnership opportunities with suppliers, customers, competitors(if applicable) on EU military projects,
• Develop the proximity with DGA and French Army.
The role will be to participate and represent SLS to SAFED meeting, SAFRAN EDA meeting, (DGSI + DRTI) and in particular to get some support of SAFRAN Brussells desk if necessary.

• Strong experience in Aeronautical or Defense, military is a plus,
