• Responsible for the structural integrity of Landing Gears and Landing Gear Systems in support of more senior level Analysts/Engineers
• Perform the following activities but not limited to:
• Strength and Fatigue Analysis
• Finite Element Analysis
• Weight Optimization
• Establish Qualification Test Requirements
• Create Certification Documents
• Prepare and review structural reports for compliance to airworthiness specifications and customer requirements
• Provide support and justification in the disposition of non-conformances and structural repairs
• Travel to customer/partner/supplier facilities within or outside of Canada if required
• Possible move to a different functional role as required by the business (eg. Design, etc.)
• Other company/Engineering related activities as required

Parlons de vous

• University degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline
• Good understanding of the fundamental principles of Solid Mechanics and Fatigue
• Ability to perform both classical strength and fatigue analyses
• Knowledgeable in Finite Element Modeling and Analysis
• Experience in the field of structural engineering is an asset
• Proficient with computer programs such as Mathcad and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience with CAR/FAR/CS 23/25 specifications are an asset
• Detail and results oriented with a well-developed problem solving ability
• Demonstrated experience with CATIA, PATRAN, NASTRAN, Abaqus/CAE and ABAQUS are a definite asset
• Ability to travel internationally if required
• Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
