Safran Landing Systems has an exciting position for a Field Service Representative based at its Mobile, Alabama location. In this role you will provide on-site support at the Airframer Final Assembly Line on landing gears, wheels, brakes, systems and equipment in a Part 21G environment. In addition, you will also provide on-site support at Airlines or MRO customer to perform repairs or retrofit under a Part145 repair station certificate. This is a key role in supporting Safran Landing Systems' customers (internally and externally), and the associated activities to improve the flexibility of Safran Landing Systems offerings and time to provide solutions to the issues our customers may face.

Role & Responsibilities:
As a Field Service Representative, your main task will be to prepare, perform and record interventions on Aircraft such as:
- Correction of any defect or damage reported by the Customer
- Embodiment of design change or specific upgrades and retrofits
- removal/replacement of components
- Completion of travelled work
- Execution of vendor assist (customer requested support)
You will represent Safran Landing Systems in front of our customer and deliver a professional corporate image in line with Safran's standards.

You will be part of a local team of 5 Field Service Representatives located in proximity to our customers' facilities.

Your scope of activity will be a mix of activities between
- Office (consult drawings or documentation, record detailed information of completed interventions, reporting, manage spare parts stocks, chemicals and tools, etc)
- Physical intervention on Aircraft
- Document routine activities along with root cause/fault isolation

Skills & Requirements:
Experience/Education/Certification Required:
High Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft products
High school diploma/GED
Licensed AME/A&P or equivalent experience strongly preferred
3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance
Ability to read and understand drawings, manuals, and other technical documentation
Good knowledge of Mechanical & hydraulics systems (Landing gear experience beneficial)
Ability to self-inspect work and strong attention to details
Available to travel at short notice and be prepared to be in the field extended periods if necessary
Available to work overtime, weekend and holidays to support the customer's planning if required
Customer mindset (anticipating needs along with prompt responses)
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to adapt to continuously changing work conditions while ensuring safe work practices
Driving License
Pass FAA's initial hire and routine drug testing

Physical/Environmental Scope of Position:
Vocal communication, hearing, and visual acuity are required for safety, direction, and the exchange of ideas in the industrial environment
Application of Standard PPE (safety glasses, shoes, gloves, mask, etc) while performing tasks as required
May be required to work in tight spaces
Subjected to inside environmental conditions, noise, vibration, oils, and other related industrial hazards
Must demonstrate the physical capacity to lift, push or pull up to 50lbs as required

Excellent spoken and written communication in English
